Our Business Advisors have careers of progressive responsibilities in major corporations including successes in key staff and general management assignments and each has over seven years experience working with small companies in central Indiana. They are experienced and capable of assisting with a wide range of business challenges. We find business owners have strong competencies around their products or services, we can assist with helping plan for and operate the “business” side of being in business.
Planning and goal setting are proven basics of sound management. We offer Direction Setting, within which we assist the owner and key management team to develop a focused action plan for the forward 12 to 18 months. For larger companies, we offer Integrated Business Planning, a comprehensive strategic planning process. Within our peer advisory program (TAB) we annually update our Success 200x goals, strategies and action plans.
Our featured management program is The Alternative Board TAB® – monthly peer advisory board meetings supplemented with one-to-one coaching sessions.
Our experience has been that small growing companies’ biggest challenge is finding and managing people. We offer a series of products including HireSmartSM and TriMetrix™ to help define jobs, the success characteristics of jobs and assist in the selection of appropriate candidates. As companies grow they often need to improve working relationships among managers and we can assist with personal development and team building tools. One of our processes to assist personnel development is the Success Discovery Process™. We also find the discussions at TAB Board meetings center around personnel issues and result in suggested options to resolving troubling situations.
After people, we have learned that companies next need help in getting business – selling. Sales UpSM provides a monthly shot in the arm for owners and sales professionals. Meetings include an early breakfast with networking and a professional speaker on a topic targeted to selling or sales management.
