Matching Candidates to Jobs
TriMetrix® is an objective system for matching candidates to jobs in a way that bias is reduced and focus is placed on what is required for superior performance in the job. An individual candidate or a group of candidates can be compared against the benchmark.
The Job
The initial step in the TriMetrix® system is a clear understanding of the results or accountabilities of the job. Key stakeholders in superior performance reach agreement on the four to six key accountabilities of the job. Those stakeholders then complete the TriMetrix® Job Report questionnaire. There are 130 questions asking respondents “if the job could talk…” The resulting report provides a benchmark for the job defining:
- The values or interests that the job rewards
- The personal skills / talents required for successful performance
- The behaviors necessary for success in the job

The Candidates
The second step is collecting the values, capacities and behavioral preferences of the candidate. The TriMetrix® Talent Report provides an individual talent, value and behavior assessment of a candidate that is readily comparable against the benchmark. The resulting report provides candidate information describing:
- The candidate’s individual hierarchy of values and interests
- Candidate’s personal skills or capacities
- The candidate’s behavior traits
